I purchased this camera in February 2009. In late November the camera stopped working. Shipped it off to Kodak’s repair service “United Camera and Binocular Repair.” Long story short, warranty repairs denied because of corrosion inside of the camera. ??? The camera did get a lot of use, however, it was never abused or exposed to excessive moisture (A few rain drops now and then…but thats it). I honestly expected this camera to last 5-6 years and when it died on Thankgiving afternoon I was a little upset that I was unable to capture any photos. I am even more upset that because of some design flaw that allowed moisture into the case, Kodak refuses to honor the 1 year warranty on this product.
Because of only mediocre picture quality, I probably would not have purchased another Kodak, but couple average picture quality along with a failure to honor the product warranty, I will never purchase another Kodak product again.

I bought my camera in October 2008 and used it 3 times (Halloween, Christmas, this spring). It was on my shelf the majority of that time with no exposure to any elements. This Halloween I take it out and it didn’t work. Out of warranty I contacted Kodak basically to be told that I’m SOL and that for $70 I could send the camera back to them to go toward a new Kodak product. I hope they enjoyed the $100 they got for this camera because they won’t get any more of my money.

I picked this camera up to replace a Canon sd100 that I absolutely could not stand and let me tell you I have owned some really expensive cameras and this little camera stood right up there with them,I don’t have one bad thing to say about this camera. It took EXCELLENT Pictures and EXCELLENT video. The pictures were so clear and all you had to do was just press the button. It took the pictures that fast to. I was extremely please and impressed with this little Kodak.
I had this camera 14 months and it worked great. One day last week it wouldn’t turn on. All it did was pop the lens out and then right back in. I did some research and found this is a common problem with this model. Called Kodak and they told me to pound sand. Just a word to the wise. Avoid this camera…
