Just got back from a trip to Zion and Byrce National and what great pictures we got. The pictures are so clear it looks like we are still there. One of the neat features of this camera is the seting for doc. We use it a number of time to phot the information at different places at the parks.

EASY TO USE CAMERA WITH A LOT OF AUTOMATIC SETTINGS AND FEATURES; FOR THE EVERYDAY PHOTOGRAPHER WHO WANT’S A BETTER PICTURE THAN TAKEN WITH THOSE LITTLE CAMERAS. I TRIED THIS CAMERA IN DIFERENT LIGHT CONDITIONS INTERIORS AND (GREAT PICS).
I SPECIALY LOVE THE WIDE ANGLE LENS, THE SOON, FOCUS AND BETTER FLASH THAN THE LITTLE CAMERAS.

I purchased this camera for the zoom capability and have been pleased with everything about it. I still am learning about it as I use it, it is user-friendly.
I purchased this camera as a step up from an old Olympus Camedia, 5 megapixel with a 10x zoom. Its programs, especially in Scene mode, are much improved and easier to use. The flip up flash is a good feature because it can be used to prevent the flash from accidentally going off in an area (such as museums) where flash is forbidden. This is the perfect camera for the serious photographer who doesn’t want to carry several extra lenses with a SLR. So far, the stabilization system has worked well when shooting in moving vehicles.
I have had this camera for about 6 months now and have taken about 3000 pics with it. For the wide range of options you have to chose from when taking a picture, this camera does a pretty good job. The zoom is substantial and the focus is good as long as the batteries are fresh. Battery life is super short (200 pics) and goes down substantially when using the high-power zoom. The autofocus also struggles to get the correct object in focus when the zoom is employed too. That being said, for the price, I wouldn’t have done any differently and keep this at my side all the time becaue it takes a great shot no matter what the circumstance (just be sure you have extra betteries on hand). Overall a good buy and a great camera.
This kit has a lot of stuff in it and it’s all of some value.
My only real objection is that the lenses provide a fairly “soft” image and the user manual, such as it is, is pretty useless.
I don’t, for example, mind vigetting when using a long teleconverter lens, but I’d appreciate some guidance in the user guide on when to expect it. Similarly, I’d like some guidance on minimum focusing distances when using the wide angle converter and when using the macro capability.
This package is a must have for your camera! It has almost everything you need to get the professional look without having to know everything about your camera. Only thing I think it is missing is a micro lens but you can get that seperatly if needed. Its a prefect starter kit for someone who just bought a new camera, giving you everything you need to take care of your camera and to get the best pictures possible. It comes with the adapter piece for the lenses and everything. Nothing about these products are hard to use or confusing. I found that the camera bag fit all of the lenses and the cleaning kit perfectly. I keep my camera in a different smaller bag to carry with me when I dont want to bring the any lenses with me. Its all around perfect and it all works great!
The kit is great. The tripod is lightweight yet of high-quality, is very basic, that it does not have a level reference. The wide-angle and telephoto lens are working just fine. The lens adaptor is nice that it has a choice of two length, either when your lens is at full retract or full zoom. The filters can only fit at the adaptor, and not on the lens, hence only at fix position and does not go with your lens when you retract or zoom (lens thread is unknown from Olympus’ product description). But over-all the accessories gave an excellent add-on to my camera and a pro-look. The carrying bag though has no enough space for the camera when you slip in all the accessories. It would be better to include a much larger bag.
The product arrived quick! Everything was in there and it is in time for my dad’s trip to Europe. Some stuff was duplicate of what he already has like the bag and the tripod, but i had known that before ordering. The filters and the lenses are what I was looking to buy.
I one drawback was the wide angle lens had a macro lens attached. I had to buy a reducer ring to to use the wideangle without the macro lens attached. add a reducer ring it’s $5 to make this wide angle work without the macro when wanted.
